An odd and confusing look into one of the most interesting places on earth: the den of serial killers. What could have been an amazing premise was muddied by half-hearted audience immersion, strong stylistic choices that left characters stranded, and moments of AA-meets-Fight-Club chanting that keeps the audience from really connecting with the killers whom they are supposed to be a part of. ... full review

Red Bar is like joining a cult you never knew you thought you could be part of. Creepy as hell. That’s all I’m in liberty to say.... full review

Interesting premise. They’re open to audience participation, go for it! With the last show being BYOB, maybe there will be :-)... full review

Very dark and very thought-provoking. I was captivated and eager to see what was next with this support group for serial killers. This is definitely a play for deep soul-searching, not for mere entertainment. ... full review

A dark but insightful look into the minds and hearts of serial killers in an AA type meeting yet it takes place at a bar. An hour that leaves you with a deeper look into forgiveness, compassion, empathy, and love for ones self and others and how the lack of those leads to the demise of humanity. ... full review

Dark, disturbing and not for everyone, Red Bar was most -definitely- my cup of tea. A treatise and a glimpse into a world where serial killers get acceptance and praise, love and affection because after all--everyone deserves it, right? ... full review

I don't want to give too much away, but the show is a unique experience that is ultimately hard to describe. Some elements of humor and some of suspense really help guide the story. Not to mention the performance of Hallie which is a stand-out in every way and is it worth the price of admission just to see his scenes in the first half of the show.... full review

This is an insider look into the underground life of a group of serial killers. Expect audience participation, body bags, and a lot of bricks. The beginning of the play seemed like a dark comedy for me, I’m not sure if that was the intention, but I enjoy dark comedies so it worked well for me. The ending? Well...that’s definitely not a comedy! ... full review
