You could call this show "Waiting for The Fable" or "The Scorpion and The Frog are Dead" because while I was watching it, all I could think about was how this was a fairy-tale version of Waiting for Godot or Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead. It was definitely a new way of telling that story, looping both in its prologue/epilogue and in the fable itself. It was eerie, dark and very worth watching....

A very dark parable on the forces of human nature. This is a strong comedic satire, with great performances from the two leads. It's an engaging 50 minutes that truly makes you think about the hamster wheel that all of us are on......

Don't miss a chance to see this wonderful reimagining of a classic tale! We feel very fortunate to have been in the house for the beyond enjoyable opening night performance. This was a sort of Beckett-meets-Stoppard wordplay deconstructing a familiar myth/folk tale. In it, Spencer Green shows not only how we never escape "our nature," but also examines power dynamics between the characters as they switch roles back and forth. It is witty, funny, and you'll walk away with more understanding than when you walked in....
