Never in my life have I been in such awe of a performer. Blown away by the bravery of Robert Leggett. Thank you for sharing your story, for telling your truth and for finally getting on that stage and being all you. You are a beacon of light and you shined so bright tonight. If you want to see a story, told simply and beautifully. Go become a part of Robert's journalistic journey. Thank you for making me a part of your life and being a part of mine. Forever and ever, amen. You made me cry and cry and cry with tears of love and joy. ... full review

In the sea of familiar faces flowing through the Hollywood Fringe Festival, you may occasionally find a whitecap break the surface of the ocean in the form of Robert Leggett's legendary beard. This man has seen hundreds of Fringe shows over his time visiting the festival, and he reviews each one with the fondness of a man who has lived many lives and enjoyed an impossibly multitude of performances. Speaking with Bob in passing for whatever tickled his fancy today is an absolute gift; reading a warm review of your work from him is a treasure. Driven by love of art and what seems to be an unquenchable thirst to see as much of it as humanly possible, Robert Leggett is one of the Fringe's most ardent and vocal supporters. How fitting he should ... full review

Bob Leggett has rightfully established himself as the living legend of the Hollywood Fringe Festival. You can consider yourself lucky if you get the chance to cross paths with this truly sincere and authentic magic maker who loves the theater, theater artists, and theater life more than anyone else trudging up and down Santa Monica Boulevard. This guy is a gem. He's the real deal. Bob Leggett is the heart of the Hollywood Fringe Festival; and this heart is pumping strong.... full review

Bob sharing his life in an earnest and direct manner was both fascinating and endearing; he's led such an interesting life and made so many unique relationships with artists of all kinds. For someone who is so invested in the Fringe community, it was wonderful to get a better sense of who he is and where he comes from.... full review

Bob Leggett is such a genuine soul, that I couldn't help but fall in love with his story. I'm always fascinated by people who have lived a nomad lifestyle going from place to place because its the opposite of my own experience. Bob has found himself from the military, to world class music venues, to the renaissance faire, to the Fringe Festival. He takes us to all these places with DOZENS of pictures to back him up. I loved seeing the people and places pop up behind him as he was talking, it really added to my experience. ... full review

Kudos to Bob for fulfilling his dream of doing his own solo show at the Fringe. The man has obviously seen many over the festival's ten years and he speaks about his interest in them during his performance, noting how brave it seems to take the stage for 60 minutes alone. He has a lot of stories to share, and in many instances, some of the more interesting ones are shelved for 'maybe another time'. It's hard not to wish that Bob had taken one more step out on that theatrical ledge and been willing to get a bit more personal with us in a couple of moments.... full review

An entertaining series of anecdotes by a man who is living a much broader life than most, recreating himself as time and circumstance require. It's very much a work in progress by a first time performer, and a good first draft/solid effort.... full review
