The feat of these amazing performers is matched by the hilarity of the material. I would watch these two play parcheesi, but to see them athletically bound through this cavalcade of wonderful songs and hysterical characters is an unparalleled delight. See this (and see the wonderful doc on which it was based.)... full review

An extremely talented cast of two whips their way through a dizzying array of characters and costume changes with ease and hilarity. The songs are catchy and some are spot-on in capturing the overblown bombast of the 80s; "Referee" in particular sounds frighteningly like someone captured the music of January 1987 in a bottle. Definitely worth checking out!... full review

Wow! Wow! Wow! I feel lucky I got to see this show. Top to bottom it's hilarious and gushing with talent. Is it weird to compare it to "Book of Mormon?" Because I just did. Scaled down, of course, but maybe really seriously just as funny. And 1/10th the price (for now). Holy sh*t I laughed and laughed and clapped. It's SO SUPER GREAT!! ... full review

This musical is hilarious! So out-of-the-box, yet simultaneously endearing, due to the amazing singing, dancing and acting talent of the two actors. Lauren and Brendan tell an unforgettable story with loads of pizazz, wit and charm! See it!... full review

See it. Amazing two-actor performance, doing so much with minimal staging, effective lighting, a series of quick costume changes, and a pile of wigs. Among the comedy, actually offers a few nuggets of insight into the subjects of the original documentary.... full review

LAUREN AND BRENDAN ARE AMAZING. They carried this entire musical by playing every character just between the two of them! And they did it effortlessly. It never looked like hard work. Even at the end of the show, they didn't even seem out of breath! AFTER SINGING FOR AN HOUR STRAIGHT AND PRACTICALLY NEVER LEAVING THE STAGE! That is a feat in and of itself. The writing is fantastic. The songs are catchy. The premise is so adorably sad and funny. Hard to believe this actually happened! I loved every minute of it. GO GO GO! This is a must-see for the musicals this year! The audience was with them the whole time and at the end a very well-deserved standing o took place. Really exciting work by these two expert comic performers. (... full review

This company really captured the essence of the documentary source material in the most hysterical way. Well acted and directed, this fast paced parody musical is a great way to spend your evening...unless of course you hate laughter.... full review
