ALON DINA stage takes certified reviewer June 23, 2026
Seen this at 30 Minutes or Less Fest and I think it's too important to miss! Diaz shows us what society wants from the "Perfect Woman" and how harmful that can be to everyone. Sharp, concise, and full of heart; awakens us to our own humanity in a 30 minute show. Diaz does a good job connecting with the audience, rather than lecturing us, finding ways to include each of us in sme way.... full review

Ashley Diaz returns to their roots in "Being the Perfect Woman," a solo journey that is both passionate and very personal. Diaz explores not only their world, but the world of many modern women and the very real fear of standing in your light and declaring your truth in today's America. Paired with a live video feed throughout, Diaz is available, and uncompromisingly present throughout this solo journey.... full review

What does it mean to be a "perfect " woman? Ashley Diaz takes us on their journey of discovering one's self in the face of a harsh, unfair reality that can refuse to accept that. Bold, funny, and very poignant, "Being The Perfect Woman" is a very special short piece this Fringe not to be missed.... full review
