Amazing Graves

What an absolute treat. I had no idea what I was getting into, but I was beyond excited to see this show. I was blown away by the writing...so witty and funny and yet cut deep to the heart. Honesty and vulnerability are my jam and this show totally took me on the ride. I laughed out loud, slapped my knee and then instantly clutched my heart. This is a story of love and seeing yourself clearly so you can see others clearly. I loved it. Especially in the first story Amanda Lynne took my breath away from the moment she stepped on the stage. I thoroughly enjoyed Amazing Graves. Being billed as "One Cemetery - Two Plots" was a great concept. Both stories were very original and wonderfully acted. I was more drawn to Our Cemetery for the simple fact that all 5 actors were within my same age group. A small town cemetery is the perfect canvas for these two plays. Though the plays are very different, their themes are similar....those of life, death, regrets and hopefulness. And also the more devastating effects of mental health, racism and addiction. Can you recreate your past and heal the wounds that have plagued your life for years, even decades?
