I really enjoyed both of these. The relationship between the mother and daughter Anna Lisa and Tammy was really terrific In the first scene. Not to take anything away from the mother and son characters or the rest of the cast. They were all really great. I just found myself getting glassy eyed during the mother daughter moments because you could feel the realness of what, I assume, the writer pulled from. And if I'm wrong, it was just very well written in general....

Lots of LAUGH OUT LOUD moments! While one show is really comedy-driven with the absurd, the second show pulls at your heartstrings. The dead mother's line about her husband - "He was WEAK" almost buried me there with the rest of the dead - SO funny. ...

Since I graduated high school in 1976 and have MY OWN 50 year Reunion in a couple of months, I naturally related more to the second play... but both were fantastic really well written the first one was super funny and the last one really pulled your heart strings led by the indomitable effortless acting of Michael Dempsey. And then the first play I thought Amanda brought an impishness to the Angel that I would never have thought of myself a brilliant choice! In 2nd piece I Also LOVED that they all had been in Our Town which is about not experiencing life until it's gone....

What an absolute treat. I had no idea what I was getting into, but I was beyond excited to see this show. I was blown away by the writing...so witty and funny and yet cut deep to the heart. Honesty and vulnerability are my jam and this show totally took me on the ride. I laughed out loud, slapped my knee and then instantly clutched my heart. This is a story of love and seeing yourself clearly so you can see others clearly. I loved it.
Especially in the first story Amanda Lynne took my breath away from the moment she stepped on the stage. She shined like a true angel and had me from hello! Amanda really is a star! Loved her.
In the second story Beebe Smith was a stand out and she went to some real depths in her character. The whole en...
