Sometimes you need animals to tell you about the human experience. In Betsy & Patty find out, it's cows waiting in line (for something that must be good ?!), chatting about life and holding a mirror up for us. And fringe bonus- it's a tight 45! Insightful, witty, and pertinent, this dramatic cow-medy (eh? eh?) is a delight to experience. If you enjoy Animal Farm, watch this play....

A great dialogue between two Cows, in a tight 45-minute, poignant comedy. Aaron Francis builds on his "Animal Farm" by presenting Betsy & Patty, friends waiting in line and chewing the cud on society. The joy here is that these cows are innocent, so their views never come off preachy or partisan and Francis' script lets you bring meaning to it. So well played by Jennifer Derosa and Jules Bruff, the conversation flows easily and soon we are right in line with them. A simple, cute and heartfelt show!...

Here's the PERFECT example of what Fringe does BEST: (1) new and imaginative idea, (2) talented actresses (+6 non-speaking extras, all uniformly cow-clad) and (3) super-simple production---eight individuals in a line in front of a sheet!. This could be done anywhere, by anyone, and be equally effective! Jennifer DeRosa steals the show as Betsy, thanks to the generosity of Jules Bruff, who turns out to be the last actor standing! And Bruno Oliver makes his one line (one word!) count!
3/4-hour length = tailored to ideal Fringe Fest parameters! ...
