About the Project
The Penny Stinkers offer a variety of short and long form spectacles, using the audience’s suggestions to create infinite narratives from open scenes based off a single word to drawn out Shakespearean tales. Directed by Groundlings co-founder Suzanne Kent, this trio of improvisers (consisting of a set of twins and an only child) possess a chemistry that everyone in the audience is sure to remember. Since meeting at the New York Film Academy of LA the Penny Stinkers have performed for theatrical fundraisers, company conventions, non-profit events, and have held residencies at the Groundlings and the Eastwood PAC. The Penny Stinkers were dubbed winners of the Producers Encore Award during the 2023 Hollywood Fringe Festival for their run at the Hudson Theatre. Patrick, Thomas, Jordan and Suzanne can be seen nowadays performing monthly at the Groundlings G3 stage.
