I’m an actor and playwright originally from Scottsdale Arizona. For the past 3 years I’ve been attempting to create a new genre of theatre called “Pop-Theatre”. I define “Pop- Theatre” as a type of theatre that takes any element of pop culture and puts it live on stage in a narrative play format. In an attempt to get everyday people in the seats of theaters, by using familiar characters and concepts to tell unconventional stories. I’ve written 3 plays in this new genre all of which have been performed. The first two “MacBatman” and “Project X-Men” were produced as full productions and the my third play “A Long Time Ago” was produced as a workshop production this October at my Alma mater The New York Film Academy.
