One of the TOP 5 Fringe Shows I've ever seen in my 6 years of Fringe Attendance.
I went to Saturdays performance and was so overwhelmed by the entire Production that I returned on Sunday. Do not miss this show so that you will avoid the frustration of hearing the after buzz this Production promises to have for at least the next year. David Arkenstone and Steve Vlasak flex and have focused their unique professional, creative, and mature talents into this show. The cast were all top notch with Vocal and choreographed movement that left all of the boxes checked....

OUTSTANDING IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT
If there’s a more superbly produced show and more talented cast at the 2025 Hollywood Fringe, I haven’t found it yet. Bravo to all involved. ...

Must See
Who knew that Mona Lisa had been missing for two years? Well, writer Steven Vlasak did, and we’re all very fortunate because of it. His thought that there might just be something there.. has come to fruition in this marvelous, fully realized and executed musical production. I attended the preview show, and if I hadn’t known for a fact that this was the very first staging of this show, I’d have never believed it. From script to casting to song to dance to costumes to orchestrating a live band on stage to individual and overall performance… Mona Lisa Missing was a joy to watch, and masterful period piece. This show’s got legs—And I don’t just mean the can can dancers… Bravo to all involved, and, along with Steven Vlasak (story/lyrics), Wayne M...

well done masterpiece! I have been a fan of David Arkenstone's work for a while now, and I am so glad I am now getting the chance to see his musical theatre skills come to life! High energy entertainment, driving music, comedy, intrigue and romance...this musical could only be set in gay Paris! What fun to experience the awakening city in 1911, with it's saucy can-can dancers and moody Americans like lead Carl Decker, a sensationalist journalist who arrives to soul searching after the Spanish-American war. All that goes on in this well-costumed and sparsely staged work is enhanced by a live orchestra driving the mood and momentum, with whimsical drums, keyboard, cello, accordian, clarinet, and the renowned writer/composer David Arkenstone nestled in with the players. It takes a lot to keep my attention after 9 pm these days, and this was thoroughly enjoyable and neatly produced....

Mona Lisa Missing! The Musical! is a fun piece of transportive theatre, largely thanks to the wonderful score by David Arkenstone and the dedicated cast of character actors. The show is produced at a particularly impressive scale for the Fringe, with physical props set against a large video screen to set the scene. There are also a few standout vocal performances among the cast, enhancing the already enchanting live music. While fun, the story can be confusing at times; though, in the end, it hardly matters enough to dampen the show's overall joie de vivre....

When I went to see Mona Lisa Missing I was expecting to see
a “Fringe” show but what I saw instead was a Broadway Show.
It was polished, well executed musical with some lovely music
and great story telling through the book and lyrics by Steve Vlasak. The story was captivating and the characters were all delightful. The singers had strong, beautiful voices. Jordan Mullins (Lisa) was PHENOMENAL. In addition to a beautiful voice she had a sweetness and warmth that stood out and infused all her scenes with humanness and sincerity and was a perfect foil for the world weary Karl Decker played wonderfully by Chad Anderson. In general, the cast was great and were clearly having great fun performing. From script to casting to song to dance to co...
