A must, must, MUST see. Gorgeous to watch. Incredible writing and directing and talk about a fantastic cast! Jeffrey Johnson draws us in before the story officially begins (and our attention is captivated to the very end); and away we go on a magical journey. The film noir setting is so delicious with every twist and turn. Ha! Ann Noble, Robin McDonald, and Christian Haines are beyond wonderful! Do yourself a favor, will ya: Just go see it! ... full review

ABBY NORMAL THE MUSICAL

A peek into the world of a condition that is rarely talked about in an imaginative way with lots of levity! By giving epilepsy its own character, the story cleverly showcased the material commitment of a chronic condition. Our lead actress's voice was gorgeous, and you were always rooting for her.... full review

DOLL COURT

Doll Court is an incredible concept in the perfect place with a talented and funny performer at its helm. It was so joyous to see others playing with dolls, and that all of us got to have our part in the case. (I was the stenographer! A dream!) The fart sound effects had me dying. I was so sad that I had to leave early to get to another show because I could've stayed in Doll Court forever.... full review

Hot Yoga

beth halper · June 14, 2026 certified reviewer
HOT YOGA leaves you breathless in a completely different way. Written by and starring Ruby Marker, this one-woman show is a masterclass in leaning into the dark to find the most hilarious absurdity. The piece is a sharp, autobiographical journey through a young girl's burning desire to act and write in a town dominated by "cowboys, bros, and jocks," where the only entertainment seems to be speeding around the roundabout until you get dizzy. It transforms a claustrophobic setting into a perfect... full review

Immediately, I was drawn in by the dreamy set and captivated by the cast giving a performance that felt so raw and real. The difficulty in confronting traumas from past relationships made this play an absolutely enthralling emotional experience. The cast was brilliant. Playback is gripping, it's raw, it's emotional and compelling. I really enjoyed it!... full review

Roominate

It felt like a modern platonic dialogue on the nature of being, but not trying to find an overall answer. At times it made me think of Camus’ essays about and against suicide within an absurdist philosophy. Overall, I greatly enjoyed the show!... full review
