A shared meditation on the difficulties we all experience in communicating with other living beings -- hoop alien, human, or otherwise. RM invites us to ponder hoops, holes, portals of all kinds as we build the show together. Anything can happen in this fully improvised show -- amidst this exciting uncertainty, serendipitous moments of whimsy and joy (like impromptu accordion accompaniment and folk singing) ensue. What a delight to spend an hour with a hoop alien experiencing an existential crisi...

I can't believe the Fringe and the Broadwater allowed this show to happen after ripping off another artist's poster artwork and personally talking sh*t on him and his career for no reason other than to stir up interest in this show!

A triumphant, deeply moving production. A must-watch. Driven by an exceptionally constructed plot and perfectly delivered performances, this production transcends mere entertainment. Every scene builds intentionally, driving the tension and complexity forward. The acting is nothing short of superb; the performers navigate the rapid shifts between devastating vulnerability and sharp, comedic timing with total precision. ...

Armed with a hula hoop and an intense gaze, RM takes the room for a ride. Through a strong commitment to the character of the hoop alien, a willingness to follow in-the-moment discoveries in the room, and tasteful tonal shifts, RM kept me captivated throughout this piece. The ending is satisfying and changed my perspective on hoop aliens, hoops, and humanity....

Extremely funny and simultaneously grounded. The untold story of Eve makes you really ponder the similarities and “place” of women in society today from one of the oldest stories we know. From the start it is funny and you know you’re in for a treat. ...

I am in love with this show. To watch these two friends, one a ghost and refusing to face much of the reality of that, and the other dealing with all the complications of still being alive (and trying to hide your ghost nest friend) is such a pleasure. Their relationship and the chemistry was tremendous and completely believable. It left me feeling so grateful for the people I'm closest in my life and I left at ease with the thought of being able to see them again some day. A thought that I had l...
