It is clear how much of her heart and soul Harper-Rose put into this show. It has her signature mark of incredible writing blended with pure presence allowing space for her crowd work chaos, and real time vulnerability. Her chemistry with Greg is electric; they bounce off each other with impeccable comedic timing. He is the perfect support character, chiming in at exactly the right moments to compliment Harper-Rose's material. The songs are all BOPS and Harper-Rose has the voice of an angel. Husky Whispers just got a new fan! These two men are wildly talented, and incredibly funny. But their tenderness and emotion moved the room in such unexpected ways. Lucy does a great job with a tender and raw, yet suspenseful solo piece. I loved how vulnerable she was, how she used the conceit of a burglar, how she didn't shy away from sharing her fears. Relatable: the fear of being single and dying and what happens next. She really "went there" in this piece, and I couldn't applaud her more.
