I got to see Annika Hogarth's entry effort last year for Kittens and I remember thinking to myself, "This is one artist to watch." What an impression Mike Hadge has made with his first Hollywood Fringe entry! SSS was wildly entertaining from start to finish!! And the cast he has assembled is so brilliant. This show felt like watching a boy playing out his fantasy of being a man via knighthood, and it was a joy to see. I love how Grant kept returning to themes of toxic masculinity, and ultimately transcended it through his performance by being free, playful, and creating community.He built his own crew (squire!), and then shared the power with all of us.
