This was such a full force existential panic disguised as a comedy show. I laughed hard at the majority of jokes and I really appreciated how Kira spoke. In the sense that this was so poetic in its rhythm. There's a line she has about how atheists' talk to angels that I still think about. This performance was just full of authenticity and vulnerability. I enjoyed Kira's bravery in admitting that she wasn't always the good guy. She wasn't always the hero in other people's story and I appreciated that honesty. Kira was captivating to watch and i commend her strength. Physical strength because that handstand was insane. This was just an hour of pure raw unadulterated honesty. In general Kira is a powerhouse with a lot to say and I was hanging o...

Utterly frank, no-nonsense, and cerebral are the first three words that come to mind when I think about this unique, powerful solo show by Kira Wallace. Like many solo performers, I applaud her "take-me-as-I-am" approach to sharing her story. In her 18 years, she's got a wisdom and blunt nature that would definitely be off-putting to many, but what can I say, as a fellow member of the tribe, I appreciate her not fitting into every box society carves out. Sometimes, not fitting in, IS FITTING IN and thankfully for us, she is able to UNWRAP it all in front of us with humor, humility, bittersweet stories, and soul. ...

Spoilers ahead:
I was very impressed by the delivery and resilience of such a young actress. I wanted to share that her monologue brought back many memories of a similar loss of an elementary school classmate, that I hadn’t remembered since it happened. Then following in close succession I also had the loss of a grandparent, and though mine was not as dramatic, I began to fear that I could lose anyone, at any moment.
However, the more years of experience I began to have, the more I realized there would be beautiful and amazingly happy days that I would soon experience, and that life wasn’t always only about loss.
So I would encourage her to hang on for life is dear and the days when you will have moments full of love, laughter, true joy,...

Kira's brain is clearly on another level than us mere mortals. Through her mastery of witticism, self-effacement and puns about Hitler, Kira is able to give us a brief but tantalizing glimpse into the frighteningly funny web of introspection she lives with every day. Against all odds, 'Unwrapped' made me actually like a one-person show. Highly recommended....

Let's just start simply - the show was fantastic. Kira Wallace one person show weaves through her life with humor, pathos and ultimately accepting her humanity with humorous reluctance. That this is her first show is unbelievable. This is a must see show....
