M.A.D.D About the Boy is an absolute must see performance. Brought to life by the wildly indulgent eccentricities of a character that is two parts chaos, one part unfiltered honesty. Relatable, witty, and oddly vulnerable; MADD about the boy offers a unique perspective into the world of social media, romantic/sexual cues, self-imposed boundaries, and the reckless behaviour that can lead us into situations we swore we outgrew. Precise referential comedy, relatable awkward moments with family, the pressure of the holidays, the strong presence of Jewish humour, and the undying manic energy of the character all culminate in an hour-long confession of faults and the journey to realise how they came to be. She is aided in this confession ... full review

Roni is SO full of energy it's amazing. Wow. This is one of those shows where I occasionally stopped hearing words because I was just so captivated by the performance. She was a thrill to watch, so fun to cheer for. She rocks!... full review

You go into it thinking Roni (the character), is seeking male validation, but you learn through a deeply hilarious and emotional journey that what she actually wants is validation as a whole.... full review

This is one of those shows that makes Fringe exciting and fun. This show is a diamond in an over full field of coal, just a wonderful surprise. Written and performed to perfection, Ms. Gayer has us from the moment the lights come up. Her mane of wild curls bouncing madly as she spits her lines from the perch atop her peloton. She looks like a lion closing in at full speed on its prey. Feral and Ferocious, laying down a little science while working a hula hoop. The Charlie Brown adult squawking gibberish from "the Doctor," works. The direction and design work. Lighting, transitions, music, call backs, it all works. Gayer has created a character that you can't help but fall in love with. We believe her, we are rooting for her and the most frig... full review

I have never had so much fun while feeling so old. This is an awesomely Gen-Z show, and Roni is gets my vote for the Cher Horowitz of the TikTok age. Roni is an absolute machine and her performance is a physical feat. Exercising is hard enough, but doing so while nailing comedic timing transports the show into an almost vaudevillian sphere. It's a blast to watch. ... full review

HELL YEAH!! This show has: a super funny actor, witty writing, high energy, a fun use of the space, bright poppy lighting scheme and props that support the actor and story they are telling! I loved this show and fell in love with the performer! They brought so many truths and vulnerability about what it is like in today’s dating culture! ... full review

WOW wow wow. I had an absolute HOOT and a half at this show. Roni provided an unforgettable experience and an amazing show start to finish. It's truly a must-see and will leave you wondering how the hell she does it all. I laughed to the point of tears and genuinely slapped my knee at one point. Roni is a powerhouse, an icon, and you have to see her do her thing. ALSO cannot forget the iconic Nico Fife with his amazing job co-directing and co-writing on the show. I went into this show with high expectations after having seen many amazing shows of Nico's (side note - Nico directed the best performance of Next to Normal I've ever seen) and Roni's (iconic collegiate improvisor and star of Dog Sees God) but then they exceeded everything I thoug... full review

Roni is absolutely mesmerizing in this one-woman performance - a tongue-in-cheek yet uncensored take on being single in 2023. She is real, raw, and relatable, not to mention downright hilarious. The script is smart yet stinging, encouraging yet self-deprecating. Roni brought unparalleled energy into her show. And, she does it all while exercising! If Ginger Rogers did it backwards and in heels, Roni did it in cheetah print on a stationary bike. This show is for everyone - from millennials to boomers, from lovers to haters, from singles to…well…it did really hit for us singles. By the end of the performance, Roni had the audience in the palm of her hand, and on their feet! Give this girl an encore! ... full review
