"Endearing elegance." As I sat in the theater listening to Shelley Cooper share her stories of love and heartbreak through song, using humor and vulnerability, those are the words that came to mind-- endearing elegance. Taking us through her journey of searching for love from a young age, and at times not wanting love (or perhaps trying to convince herself so) it was delightful to relate to some of her experiences, as well as chuckle, and sympathize, at some of her unique tales. At the core of everything though, is the heart of her story. And from her heart is where you can tell Shelley's gorgeous storytelling voice is coming straight from. ... full review
