Rebecca lays all of her demons bare for all to see, with a snappy score and some of the most honest moments I have ever seen on stage. She makes the solo show genre completely her own. It's the ultimate expression of self-love to let everyone see the deepest parts of yourself and come out all right on the other side. Bravo.... full review

This show is phenomenal. Honest, Hilarious, Bold and oh so well written. Becca takes us on a wild and utterly delightful ride, shedding light on the nuances of human identity and sexuality with exquisite humor and intelligence. Such a well written and performed show in which Rebecca (born Robert) takes us along her journey to becoming her true self, told with music and skits coordinated with pre-recorded characters carrying on dialogues and singing clever original songs together. Her truthful recounting of emotional recollections opened my eyes to the hidden struggles of trans people and how important it is to let people be exactly who they are and accept them as equals.... full review

Beautiful show, fearless, stunning performance by Rebecca McGlynn. I was deeply moved, laughing and crying often within the same scene. McGlynn’s ability to transform into the myriad characters who people her majestic mind was truly remarkable and seamless. I loved the songs too and Rebecca’s powerful voice. Poignant direction by Heather Dowling (an incredible solo performer in her own right!)— Heather and Jessica Lynn are a dream production team and this show sings with alchemy and resilience. It also made me think about how lucky we are to be in LA, to live in a place where we get to bear witness to such an extraordinary journey like Rebecca’s…such raw, vulnerable work. Bravo, Rebecca! Thank you for the gift of your truth ... full review

Rebecca lays it all on the line...no holds barred, and I so admire that in a performer. I've known her story on a very minor surface level. But, this show took me deeper. It shows the brutal struggle to be honest to one's self, no matter the cost. The music, the script...you'll laugh, you'll cry, you're mind will be opened (hopefully). This is exactly what theatre should do! ... full review

Clever writing, decent pipes, good timing and sharply subtle characterizations of society's "voices," all enrobed in Rebecca's effectively mellow disposition to create an engaging journey for a full 80 minutes. The subject of asexuality is curiously unique but in less capable hands, I would have been squirming in my seat before the hour. Instead, I found myself getting swept up in Robert's self-discovery and cheering at the end!... full review
