What a gift! The first time I've lost myself in laughter all year. The way Norris plays is joyful and bizarre while feeling both calculated and reckless.... full review

I'm suing John Norris. He owes me compensation for medical expenses incurred from laughing to the point of physical injury. Norris and his director Corey Podell are wildly irresponsible for developing a show that's so entertaining it makes it hard to catch your breath. I was gasping for air and the charismatic performance just continued. For the well-being of audiences everywhere, stop putting on this fantastic show. ... full review

Such pleasurable hour of completely ridiculous, beautiful, cringey, fun clowning. I laughed so hard and so often. For the first 10-15min I had no idea what was even going on but I didn't care because I was LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. ... full review

Warning! Only see this show if you're into laughing non-stop for 50 minutes. John Norris delivers a tour de force of absurdist comedy bits that gleefully defy easy categorization. His work is both vaudevillian and modern, with characterizations and sight gags that charm as much as they pound repeatedly on the funny bone. There is something Bill Hader-ish about his manner and character work - and yeah, he'd be right at home on SNL. Chonkers is hands down the most hilarious thing I've seen at the fest.... full review

Absurdly delightful and unexpected whilst being almost exactly what I expected. From the title to the poster you can generally get the idea of what you're getting into, but...you don't know. You just don't know. It's an adventurous ride that had me wide-eyed and guffawing. John Norris is unapologetic and quirky to the nth degree. I want to see it again and again because I suspect it will never be the same performance twice. ... full review
