This show is an honest portrayal into the life of a gay 20-something as he tries to fill the hole left by an ex-boyfriend with masturbation and all the dating apps that one could swipe. An interesting look into a world I know very little about, and it left me feeling sad. Sad at the loneliness the character felt, and sad at the loneliness we all feel in that longing for some form of connectiveness. I applaud the writer / performer with his honesty and ability to embrace his life. Very enjoyable. Recommended. ... full review

Michael's show is equal parts hilarious and emotional, raunchy and vulnerable. He deftly weaves back and forth between sexual, physical humor and raw, relatable emotions. I'm sure you'll laugh but you'll also find yourself catapulted to the complexities and pain of loving one who mistreats you. That way that Michael dunks your head in cold water one moment and flips you over joyfully in the the next that makes the writing and the performance exciting and dynamic. Dickin Around’ is a hilarious journey through one man’s heartbreak and into self actualization. It was laugh out loud funny, Michael is a brilliant, intelligent, comedic voice. I was engaged, surprised, grossed out, turned on, tickled, and exhilarated throughout the show. And it was beautiful to witness the culmination of one man’s introspection throughout the pandemic. Dickin' Around is equal parts hilarious and touching. Michael has written a show with a really nice arc to it-- he cleverly and deftly weaves together elements from his first 5 minutes onstage with moments later on. Highly recommend as I expect those with and without dicks alike will relate to the character's plight!... full review
