Bring on the DILDOS and JIZZ and while you're at it, you might as well sit yourself down for some of the most heartfelt and hysterical performing you are in for at this year's Fringe festival! What Michael shares is quite the journey for a hot, twenty-something gay man looking to experience life post-break-up! It proves to be rough, smooth, fun and even painful, but then again, sex can be all of these things as well. He isn't shy to share and you shouldn't be shy to go watch this physical craftsman do his thing!...

Michael's masterful use of physical comedy and pathos took us on a journey into a life I really know nothing about( I'm not gay, male and painfully far from 20-something!), but I was fully engaged from the start. In all of the hysteria, masterbating so frequently and repetitively that it causes him to develop "tennis elbow," Michael's physical comedy is bold, raw, risky, hilarious and so compelling. One of my favorite "scenes" was when Michael decides he is going to try the dating apps after his lover has left him. First up: "Nude" photos! With such dexterity as if an athletically fit swimmer training for the Olympics, Michael takes the most creative and hilarious selfies with the assistance of his full length mirror. It goes on and on,...

Wonderful
This was bold, funny, creative, and authentic. He effortlessly reveals a privacy about himself that is unique and original. His imagination is relentless. I felt both humbled and challenged watching. The show is wontouching and hilarious and ruthlessly apologetic. I loved this and felt privileged to be a part of his
journey. ...

Dickin’ Around is an incredibly hilarious, poignant and heartfelt rendering of one man’s self-discovery. Very rare that you find the perfect blend of humor and pathos, but this piece of theater does so remarkably well. Michael Lyon’s talent knows no bounds. ...

Outrageous. Funny. Outrageously funny. But also sweet and specific, deeply relatable and refreshingly honest. The hour flew by; I was genuinely shocked when the lights came down at the end… we were having so much fun. But like all the best writer-actors-comedians of our day (who I presume he studies!), he left us all hungry for more. Kudos!!!...

I was blown away by the level of acting, writing, and thought that went into Dickin' Around. I'd say 80% of the show I was laughing my dick off and the remaining 20% I was caught up in emotions I forgot I even had. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from - you'll find so much to relate to in Michael's show about love, life, and masturbating....
