What goes into transforming a musical from cherished idea into actual event in front of an audience? What changes happen to story and songs en route? What’s the Hollywood Fringe Festival like as a home for a stage musical? And how do you deal with pesky problems like global pandemics?

Join four creators of musicals at our online panel and hear different perspectives on all of these issues. You can simply listen in, or submit questions during the Q&A at the end.

A insightful event for creators and fans of musical theatre, whether or not you’ve ever set foot in the Hollywood Fringe!

Panelists include Spencer Frankeberger (BLIND-ISH, JAMBA JUICE: THE MUSICAL), Noel Katz (CAMP GINGER, IDENTITY), Michael Gordon Shapiro (GIDEON AND THE BLUNDERSNORP, THE BULLY PROBLEM), and John Wuchte (HOUSEWIFE 1952, SCARLETT FEVER).

Moderated by entertainment attorney Michael Blaha, a regular producer of plays and musicals at both Hollywood and Edinburgh Fringes.

Produced and presented by New Musicals Inc.

Watch the panel from the comfort of your home by Zoom! (Zoom Meeting Link will be emailed to registrants.)
