On the way, he explains and performs several monologues, and intersperses that with thoughts on Shakespeare from a modern-day perspective, while also sprinkling in stories from his personal life. The show, though, is more like a hour-long class with a favorite old professor who likes to perform Snippets of Shakespeare as he retreads the familiar facts of the author's life, abetted by a bag of imaginative hand props.
