What a entertaining show with a hero to cheer and villains to boo, all in the spirit of good clean fun. The ensuing rowdiness added to The Four Clowns style of playing so over-the-top that you cannot help but play along with them, especially when asked to "Remain Calm" through song....

Pure bliss. I loved this show so much. I've seen several Four Clowns shows before and this one did not disappoint. This troupe has an incredible knack for comedic timing and crowd control. One of my favorites of the year. A guaranteed good time....

When it comes to experiencing theatre that is immersive, interactive and all-around entertaining, Shakedown at the Dusty Spur! makes a small black box theater in the middle of Los Angeles feel like the center of a classic western comedy through the immense commitment, dedication and talent of the performers: Elisabeth Hower, Liz Morgan, Turner Frankosky, Benji Kaufman, Tommy Fleming and Jason Poston along with the costume design of Erin Colleran and the artistic direction from Joe Desoto.
It was hands-down the most fun I've had watching a show in years and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something original, immersive and laugh-out-loud funny.

This is easily one of my favorite shows I’ve seen this fringe. So much fun and so incredibly well done with a dash of audience participation to keep everyone on their toes and having a rowdy time....

Okay, I was hoping that the titular song would be out of my head by the time I wrote this review, but seeing as it's been over a week since I've seen the show and I'm still humming along, looks like I'll have to give up on that idea. (curse you clowns)
It is so nice to see that Four Clowns have made their return to Fringe, this time with the very funny Joe DeSoto at the helm. This show did not disappoint. I had a BLAST from beginning to end. The thing that Four Clowns does so well is create such a deep relationship and experience with and for their audience. This group of performers connected with their audience in the very first moment and kept with us til the end. To me this is what made this production, and Four Clowns, so successful. ...

This show killed me!!! I didn’t think I would laugh this much at such silly stuff. The comedy is so simple and unexpected that it pulls you in immediately and doesn’t let you go at all. These fools are hilarious, not a weak link in the entire cast. I would definitely see it again if I could, because I feel every show is different. ...

Full of memorable jokes and silly surprises! If you're looking for a crack-up, this is the show for you. A plot-driven comedy with lots of improv that makes great fun out of classic westerns, the clowns do a WONDERFUL job of keeping the audience engaged and constantly full of laughs. Loved the show!...

There is something incredibly joyful about a well-presented melodrama and this show is -exactly- that. A lot of fun from beginning to end, Four Clowns has returned with a show that has just enough fun for kids and just enough adult-humor to feel a 'little bit' dirty. It's a nice combination that's well acted and just a good ole' time....

A delightful example of clowning and physical comedy with just the right amount of audience participation and a sprinkle of melodrama. If you're looking for an hour of nonstop laughter, you've come to the right place, pardner....
