Although I think this was an ambitious attempt at a musical with a powerful message, it could've packed an even more powerful punch if the story arc were more well-developed. The connective tissue between the musical numbers is not there, which leaves the viewer with questions in terms of character motivation and story flow. Right now this feels like a work-in-progress. The lyrics in the musical numbers gives us some insight, but I would love to see this again after a rewrite that brings out more of the narrative story.... full review

A well written play, the music fit beautifully and accompanied the ebb and flow of what was happening throughout the storyline... full review

It seems that most people reviewing this musical agree that there's a solid idea here that needs more development. I'm inclined to agree. The benevolent intentions of this show are evident at every step, and the road from self-destruction to recovery is a very worthy subject for a musical. What I'd love to see is a more coherent narrative, simpler and clearer lyrics, and more choice and action on the part of the protagonist. ... full review

The music was fun and I enjoyed the lyrics. The actors were really committed and since it was a big ensemble it was nice to see that they were really enjoying it too! Seeing the actors on stage smiling and getting into the performance made me happy. ... full review
