Cirque du Giselle

WOW!!! Aeirform Arts have stepped it up about a billion notches since last year's fringe. If they agree to do an extra encore show DO NOT MISS THIS!!!! I can't believe this was a fringe show, the production value of this was out of this world, to see this calibre of theatre, in this beautiful venue, with such talented artists, would involve a trip to the Royal Ballet and spending at least 4 x more that a fringe festival ticket. Such exquisite execution of moving storytelling fused with breathtaking aerial ballet. I feel privileged to have witness this outstanding piece of art. ... full review

Cirque du Giselle was pure eye candy....No, more than that. It was pure eye creme brulee - a delicious treat at the end of our long Fringe day. The ballet, arial acrobatics, lighting, projections, and story pulled me in and washed away everything for that one hour. ... full review

An incredibly stunning piece of art! I was in complete awe of the cast - their power and talent, mastery over their craft and connection with each other kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire performance. I was quite enthralled with the crossover from ballet into aerial arts. All of the dancers used strong emotions in their presentations and I liked this very much. The technique in dancing and the telling of the story worked very effectively even with the cirque aspects. Choreography was varied and eye catching, with the added delight of the cirque presentation.... full review
