Glennis is a wonderful storyteller with an amazing stage presence. I loved the way her show was designed and how she interacted with her audience. Such an incredible, brave, raw performance with so much vulnerability and also, somehow, humor and a full musical! This is like a dark comedy version of Enchanted. Glennis masterfully drew laughs at exactly the right moments, breaking tension and offering some catharsis intermittently as she pulled us down into the depths with her, each time a little deeper into Gloria's shame and anger and sadness. From the description I didn't expect it to be as funny as it was. It was hilarious. The songs were fun and the star Glennis McCarthy has a great voice.
