An amazingly creative, entertaining, and whimsical experience! Incredible example of ensemble. Easily one of the best shows in Fringe!...

You'd be hard-pressed to find this kind of stupidity anywhere else. And I mean that in the best way. Mil Grus is one part performance art, two parts improv comedy, and five parts avant-garde nonesense. And I loved every single one of those parts! The entire bouffon ensemble are as irresistibly funny as they are repulsive. They have the audience in the palm of their hand the whole time. Like a fickle feline, they push us away and pull us back in on a whim. A well devised show, excellently performed, and exquisitely weird. The Fringe community will be talking about this one for a long time....

I have never been more present with an audience experiencing a thing than I was in this show. Disturbing, shocking, hilarious, provocative, and so, so, so weird, I loved every moment of this show and never want to watch it again. Which is good, because each show is bound to be insanely different. ...

I absolutely LOVED IT. It was revolutionary, grotesque, beautiful, and mostly... hilarious. These french medieval Buffon clowns are NOTHING the fringe has ever seen before, this coming from an LA native who's seen just about everything. I'm always looking for something completely fresh. I took my non-theatre going boyfriend, a regular Joe who works a 9-5 to Mil Grus ( I know, an ambitious beginning...) and he though it was simply fantastic. We laughed our asses off. It was gorgeous and also so deeply rooted in burtal, experimental, idiotic art. More please! The people worked So SO hard, and it really really payed off. I saw all the work they put into it and 100% translated. As i said, WE NEED MORE OF THIS PLEASE! ...

A delight for the senses! From the moment the lights go down we are whisked away to this playground where these colorful characters tantalize us to play along. Dean Evans masterfully directs this wildly talented troupe. Absurd, abstract, with the right amount of hysteria and brightness. Exciting to see Buffon in LA. A show not to be missed!...

If you know what bouffon is- You'll want to see this. If you don't know what bouffon is- You. Will. Want to See. This. "Mil Grus" is the art of mimicry, it's basic human needs from inhuman creatures. They're mocking us- Wait... no? They just need to know that we're ok. It's a dance. It's desperately important nonsense. ...

Five monsters in matching outfits (that are never quite as scary as they might originally appear) do everything they can to get the audience to love them. It was absurd and silly, and you could tell that the performers weren't sure of what was going to happen next. The show was spontaneous and weird and very, very funny....
