A clever premise, energetically performed, this exploration of what we hide from the public and what we secretly dream of is deeper than I expected it to be.... full review

A fantastic late night spook show. Weird and fun. Unique and a great ride. Also it's super creative. There are aspects that feel like an exploded art project and it all feeds the feel of the piece. Dark (really dark in a few places) and ultra-silly are hard to combine but Bisschop does it without hiccups or seams. Masterful.... full review

There’s very little I can say about this show besides make sure you see it if you can. It’s excellent and it was arguably the best thing I saw at the Fringe 2019.... full review

What did I just see? Was it a sly, satirical take on the hardships of a serial killer? Free will vs. fatalism? A salute to Dolly Parton? Yes! Twisted, dark, perverse, heartwarming, with matter of fact moments of lunacy, Mitchell Bisschop threads absurd premises and moment to moment reality together with a sense of play. The result is invigorating while simultaneously making you ask "WTF am I watching?" I can't wait to see his next show. My favorite Fringe show this year. ... full review

"Pit of Goblins" is a thrill ride from start to finish. Mitchell Bisschop brings humor and horror to the stage in new and surprising ways. I was mesmerized by so many elements of the show. This piece is a stand out of the Hollywood Fringe Festival and an exceptional theatrical production. ... full review

What a funny, creative story. I love stories that are different and out-of-the-box, but still entertaining and relevant. This was definitely that. ... full review

A dark but sometimes funny entry into the world of theatre and horror. Pit of Goblins is a hard play to describe the mood of but that is what makes it worth seeing for yourself, wonderfully twisted, boldly confident in it's storytelling and deliciously macabre; it's a true piece of art.... full review

A lovely dark little tale about a serial killer and, yes, a pit of goblins. Multiple characters, some satire, one actor and a whole lot of dead bodies. Exactly the sort of theatrical journey one expects from a Fringe show.... full review

This show was right up my dark, twisted alley. If you like your humor pitch black or are a fan of well-produced, well-performed solo shows, here is a piece for you.... full review
