JESSICA DURDOCK MORENO certified reviewer June 23, 2019
A brilliant and sparkling expression of the challenges of simply walking through the world as a woman. Jannica Olin has crafted an effortlessly executed and deeply personal account of finding her own “perfektion” amidst the violence and disempowerment of misogyny and patriarchy.... full review

This show was thoughtful, clever, educational without preaching, extremely brave and moving - but also managed to be entirely uplifting. I didn’t just get to learn more about Jannica, I learned about myself. She turns the mirror on to the audience and challenges us to look at our labels and assumptions. And I left inspired by her journey, which she masterfully made about broader themes of image and self-love. ... full review

Jannica Olin is a gifted performer with such a powerful and personal story that the audience feels every emotion that she does. It was an honor to learn about the life-changing event that happened to her, and how she was able to turn it all around. Sweden’s loss is our gain, and I couldn’t be more proud of her, and the remarkable work that she and director Jessica Lynn Johnson put into this show.... full review

One of the best solo-performances I've seen this Fringe. A very personal story, told in a way that every audience member will be able to connect to. Great work, Jannica.... full review

I was astounded. One-person shows are tremendously hard to pull off...and much harder to pull off WELL. This show was incredible. Jannica really did a deep-dive into her emotional history and her relationship with her alopecia and then she laid all of that bare for us to see. It's very clear that she put her whole heart into this production and it was time and energy well spent, because this show leaves nothing to be desired.... full review

A powerful, honest show. Olin is a great performer. I love her straightforward approach, that mixes well with the characters she seamlessly melts into her story. She shines a light on allopecia, something I didn't know enough about, but what truly sets this apart is the fact that the story she's really telling is all about self-love and acceptance, and that is something so relatable to everyone (especially us women!). I loved it!... full review

Wow, wow, wow, (Im) Perfekt is daring and bold. Jannica takes us on a creative and insightful ride of introspection on how we go through life so consumed with how we look, who we want to be, who we think we are, and the constant labling of others and ourselves. Her character work is stunning. I love all the characters so fun and smart. Alopecia blaming immune system was simply genius. Jannica's story was so heartfelt and moving, I laughed and I definitely cried. Thank you for this amzing message and reminder of how important it is to look deeper into ourselves, beyond what we perceive as perfect. ... full review
