The writing and performances in this show are outstanding. One of the best plays I've seen at the HFF in a long time. I was engaged in the story the whole time and the acting from all three performers was top notch. This was a last-minute decision to attend, as we had some time to kill between shows. So we walked up and bought tickets. What a delightful surprise. Go see it. You won't be disappointed. ... full review

Chambers Stevens has done it again with this amazing story that would fit perfectly into the fall line-up of The CW. Perfectly directed by Victoria Hoffman, this hilarious three-hander features the amazing talents of future Oscar winner Maitlyn Pezzo, along with Laurent Sayer and Bethany Nava. It is a true ensemble piece, as the talents of all three were needed to pull it off... full review

Acid Wash Love delves into relationships between men and women in a post-Me Too dating culture and poses the question many young people ask themselves: is seduction "okay" anymore? Stevens writes an excellent depiction of a modern American dude who "respects women" out of fear rather than morality. I loved the ideas that Stevens discusses and his spot on analysis of intimacy, or lack thereof, in the modern age. The timing and pacing of the script are excellent, and the actors stay engaged not only with each other but with the audience as well. Also, the free cookies are delicious. ... full review

Loved this show. We left needing to process it all and really appreciated that! There are twists in the plot and it really makes you think about relationships and how we view them as males and females. Great job!!!... full review

I really enjoyed the story of this show. The question of seduction and manipulation really had me thinking. It can be touchy today, and I love that this play brought up that question about where the line is drawn.... full review
