Surreal, brave, and touching. These women though there stories are all different have one thing in common bravery. It takes a lot to tell such personal experiences to strangers. All of the women came across genuine and not over rehearsed. Very moving performances I could have stayed and heard more.... full review

I knew nothing about this show going into it - it just fit with my schedule so I decided to check it out. This show was an incredibly well thought out, poignant, beautiful, arc of stories from women, that were honest and vulnerable. It felt as if every women’s story was somehow connected to the others without even trying to be, solely because of the shared experience of being all kinds of women, having that shared experience, and sharing it through their many different lives and stories. There were moments of humor amidst tremendous pain, which made that laughter and comedy hit you at the same level of depth as the sadness did. All that being said, the production may have benefited from more attention to the lifeless staging. Also the director could have improved the rhythm and pace – perhaps by cutting back and forth between monologues. Even so, there is great power in the simplicity of this production. We see eight distinctiv... full review

A intimate night of stories about womanhood. The stories went from humorous to heartbreaking and back again ending just right on an upbeat note. Director Kathleen Rubin curated a compelling, evenly weighted evening of heartfelt stories by the women who lived them. With a different collection of storytellers for each performance, I look forward to seeing it again. Great concept and execution. A thoroughly enjoyable evening of theatre.... full review

What struck me most was the authenticity of each of these women. Their stories were so personal, yet universal. You really wanted to sit down over a cup of coffee with each one of them and learn more. Thoughtful directing by Kathy Rubin. She allowed the stories of each of these women -- including her own -- to shine. Excellent show. Really well done.... full review
