I love this show so much. See both lineups, the mens' (America First) and womens' (Women's March). You won't regret it....

Saw this three days ago and my face is still hurting from laughter. Such a brilliant concept, executed with sharp writing, smart direction, and fine performances. Will really "knock your socks off" in more ways than one!...

A great way to spend an hour laughing your head off, lots of fun, and good exercise for your arm muscles!...

Always a good time, and this time didn't fail. I saw the men's cast - how can something so wrong feel so right?...

I saw both the men's and women's night of this production, and they were both an absolute blast. These shows are cathartic, in a couple of ways. First, I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. My face hurt. Second, you get to throw socks at the performers, while they perform the best of the worst one-person shows. So, if you've ever felt the need to punish a terrible one-person performer, or you just need to get out a little stress, there's nary a better way to do it.
But backing up...when I say "worst" one-person shows, know that these are designed to be bad. They are performed by 8 of the most fearless, talented and hilarious actors. They barely bat an eye as literally hundreds of socks are being hurled at them.
I cannot recommend ...

I was having a crappy week when I saw the women's show, and I have not laughed that hard in AGES! I REALLY needed that. In addition to the healing laughter, there is something really cathartic about hurling socks at people--and something really cool, communal and shared about the experience! I subsequently dragged friends to the men's show and they loved it just as much as I did. Seriously--MUST SEE!!!...

After several weeks of intensive theatrical experiences, this is the perfect catharsis. Take out all your passive aggressions on those hackneyed, egocentric, overdone tics and build muscle at the same time!...

Ultimately, Easy Targets is more immersive than some of the shows billing themselves as immersive this year. Putting socks in the hands of the audience adds a layer of humor that works in perfect contrast to the shocking words on stage. The talent of the actors, writers, and directors provides a focal point for our hatred and accomplishes what any good theater aims for: to make the audience feel. And boy do we feel; we feel with every single throw. And we buy more socks during the break to feel some more. When that one perfect throw smacks the actor right across the face, catharsis is achieved and we leave the show feeling both accomplished and a little lighter.
