Diana takes a difficult personal story and wonderfully delivers it to the audience with incredible, seamless transitions from one character to another… and another… and another… in a way that is entertaining and thought-provoking. Diana is a master of character portrayal - like someone call SNL now! Not only are her many characters (and she plays a ton) easily distinguished, they each felt Intentional- from nasal and annoying truth to tv host/politician sounding denial. She seamlessly goes from character to character in this fast paced show! I laughed the whole time, but my heart ached the whole time as well. It takes real skill to evoke such contrasting emotion at the same time! Diana candidly shares her account of sexual assault in a way that is watchable and engaging and brave. This show is like what would happen if Inside Out had a baby with SVU- it's a girl... it's a powerful girl- watch Diana (literally) find her strength in this powerful show. -Bonnie ... full review

Diana's show was absolutely phenomenal! Her acting was superb, her writing super on-point and imaginative. In "Shattered," Diana shows an uncanny ability to clearly characterize so many different characters. Her energy is wonderful, and her commitment to her characterization and physicality was something to behold. "Shattered" is an authentic, vulnerable one woman show that couples a moving story with a fresh delivery. Varco physicalizes her inner feelings- shame, love, fear, and many more- through the use of distinct and hilarious characterizations. Being able to see her emotions in this way really connected the audience to her experience, and kept me engaged. Varco's acting talent is undeniable, and the story she tells is one worth telling.... full review
