Mary's Medicine was delightfully fresh while also seamlessly covering critical issues, including racism, sexism, and the joys of connection and empathy, that are just as important today as they were when Mother Seacole lived her life. With a strong performance from the lead actress, this play provides an empowering message to marginalized communities. The way history is brought to life on this stage is nothing short of breathtaking; a story that seemed forgotten has been given the chance to live once more by this outstanding cast and crew....

Kudos to Matthew Robinson. This play was well cast. I enjoyed the use of the Theater for the "storytelling" framework. Loved the costumes and how the character of Mary Seacole was portrayed, meaning to see her conviction to others face to face, but in private, allowing her fears to air out. Also very grateful to have a diverse cast and a new story to add to all of our education....
