In the program for Fish Out of Whiskey, Wade Skalsky's bio says he "is not an actor. He does not have a headshot, an IMDB page, or any kind of reel." Lucky for us, what he does have is a GREAT sense of humor and natural instincts for comedic timing - and any "real" actor will tell you, those are GOLD! Wade tells a story that is funny, engaging and perfectly self-deprecating. He may not be an actor, but he is a gifted story-teller who should keep finding ways to bring his quick wit to life!... full review

When you meet Wade, he is a charming and magnetic presence. This certainly carries over to his presence in stage. His show has moments in it that had me laughing uncontrollably. The narrative is only loosely tied together, but the ride is so fun that you don't mind. Wade tells the story so engagingly and makes possibly the most hilarious use of lighting cues I've seen at Fringe.... full review
