Really fun show. Took some courage to stand in front of an audience and talk about some of those things. Entertaining, engaging, and thoughtful. Ties together very nicely in the end. ... full review

If your'e looking for a non-pretentious solo show with truth and heart, Wade Skalsky is your man. He is no actor (as other reviewers as himself freely admits) he's a lawyer, and in his first time on the stage, he makes his case: Alcoholism, life choices, women (or lack of the three.) Being a defense attorney he's obviously comfortable with being in front of people, and his jokes are spot on. The most lovable thing about all of this though is Wade himself, and this show's real strength is how much he lets his generous, humble nature, he's like a mid-western Woody Allen, whose self consciousness, though out of place in a tall, strong and handsome chap such as he (btw and have you seen his wife!!??) is 100% sincere and refreshing in a festival ... full review

Wade's fifty minutes sparkle with insight and wit, driven by an authentic voice that is never afraid to be honest. There are many laugh-out loud moments, and better yet, the smart humor always ties in nicely with the themes of Wade's story. Wade is a natural, physical storyteller whose large limbs align with the clever wordplay that drives the action. His sense of timing bangs home the story's convictions, and I walked out of the dark still laughing, but with something to think about. Go see it! ... full review

This show is heartwarming, sincere, a little dirty and charming. I loved listening to Wade speak about his childhood memories, places he's been and the things he thought were cool back in the day. The absolute best parts of this show come when Mr. Skalsky really drops his guard and starts goofing off. When he just acts completely natural it becomes pretty hard to not lean in with your fist on your chin and just smile. There are some SOLID puns and a couple nice pieces of poetic prose. A nice way to spend an hour is listening to Wade Skalsky (The Legend) tell you why he is just a "Fish Out Of Whiskey" - Super bonus points for my all time favorite pun.. finny pack. We need to go on shark tank and market this... ... full review

I wish there were more shows in the Fringe like Wade's. An everyman, not an actor telling true stores. Except Wade is a lawyer and they tend to have just enough of a theatrical flair to entertain people too. Wade has a uniquely humorous point of view and way with words that makes this show so fun to watch. ... full review

Wow! This show was so entertaining and intelligent. His acting was great--I laughed, I was inspired, and I loved how he brought us vividly into the experience of his childhood. Can't wait to see what's next!... full review

LOVED THIS!! To be honest -- from the moment I heard the title, I knew I was gonna see this show. And the performance was just as good, if not better! So incredibly heartfelt & funny -- Skalsky's retelling of his life experiences is genuine & sooo refreshing. He had both me & my husband laughing from start to finish. No need for any fancy bells & whistles, just him. A definite MUST SEE in my book! :) ... full review

Wade Skalsky is the feel-good story of Hollywood Fringe 2015. A first-timer, not just at Fringe but at acting/writing ANYTHING (except maybe legal briefs for his day job as an attorney). You'd never know it. He has a natural charm and wicked sense of humor and has created a thoroughly engaging, compelling, hilarious show. I'm guessing half his budget went toward a single, show-stopping prop involving a giant clam shell and drinking straws that had me pissing my pants. His show is a must-see and is a sterling example of just what makes HFF so fantastic. Well done, Wade!... full review
