TIMEHEART was equal parts Tom Baker-era Doctor Who, exceptional musical theater and Muppets-level hilarity, mixed with a good dose of philosophical discourse on the dangers of time travel. There were enough twists and turns to make M. Night Shyamalan want to leave Hollywood forever. The songs are magnificent, funny, and appropriately big, making you forget that you are inhabiting a small stage and taking you out into the cosmos for intergalactic adventure. The Robot Teamate troupe lives up to their full potential, with all the players getting there due and deftly delivering jokes as well as pathos. The musicians are tight and always on point. Everyone on stage knows what they're doing and they gel magnificently. But that's not all, becau... full review

This was a great show! I was able to bring my 11-year old son, and he had a blast as well. He was laughing, although I don't think he may have gotten some of it ;), but he definitely had fun. Great dialogue, and the songs were really smart. Glad we got to go, can't wait to see what this group does next!... full review

A cult classic in the making! This show is never better than when you can see and feel the fun being had by its experienced cast/writing team. Laughs and emotional moments come in equal measure in this wacky homemade love letter to sci-fi. Robot teammate + the accidental party continue to prove that they are a mighty talent to be reckoned with!... full review

What a ROMP! Timeheart was so much more fun than I had anticipated - even after all of the good things I'd already heard from other patrons. The story was clever and engaging, the music was fantastic and the performances were stellar - pun intended. I ESPECIALLY loved the "Timeheart" number! The cast, musicians and crew should be SO PROUD of what they have created. Bravo!... full review

The only that that is missing from this show is a Broadway set. I loved this show. Fantastic, lush harmonies. Some really cool shoegaze sort of dream psych pop from "The Timerheart" shhh... you don't know who that is yet. Funny, funny bits and very clever use of the stage. I've seen a lot of shows in this theatre and never have I felt that the stage felt more full and used than this show. Wonderfully blocked and I had a really great time seeing this show. Good use of the lighting too! You will not go wrong buying a ticket to see this show. I'd see it a second time. Shout out to "All Ties" who is just elfin' hilarious. Ridiculously hilarious. A campy musical that will satisfy the geek and theatre lover at the same time. Also Dr. Who fans. You... full review

A comedic romp through time and space, full of twists and turns and sudden, yet inevitable betrayals. The production is refined, but still bears the fingerprints and charms of its roots in improv. Definitely a must-see. Just make sure you sit in the center sections of the space. ... full review

Timeheart A musical comedy: When a time traveler can meet the girl of his dreams. When nobody can hear you cry in space. When binary is still a thing. It's happening as part of the Hollywood Fringe located at the Lillian Theatre on 1076 Lillian Way. Don't miss it. Glad I didn't.... full review

Timeheart is a fantastic musical romp through the science fiction staple of time travel. The company hammers one cliche after another with irreverent joy and really make this show come to life. Dave Reynolds is exceptional as the bumbling and lovable time machine inventor Bruce Greenstreet. He is at once enthusiastic and awkward, attacking each scene with renewed vigor. Writers and fellow cast mates Chris Bramante and and Miles Crosman create a ridiculous reality that also manages to have a heart, and not just the titular one. Excellent music and smart writing make me hope that this talent group will continue to create new musicals in addition to their usual musical improv performances. Even the technical difficulties and limitations of the ... full review

This show is hilarious! The comedic timing was perfect, and the story line was funny. I would love to see it again, and that includes driving from 3 hours away!... full review

It's just the Fringe-iest of the Fringe! Director Dave Reynolds is deliriously adorable as Bruce, the time-traveler who finds himself face-to-face with the girl of his dreams and silly space villains. Surprisingly, there are some truly catchy tunes that I found myself humming hours later; that happens so rarely in new musicals. There are certainly many enjoyable aspects (funny dialogue and music direction among them). However, the show is practically a silly spoof of itself, so it could use better character development and sound design, and less time spent on clunky sets and scene changes; but that can happen when the director is in the show. Problematic, yes, but definitely not a waste of your time.... full review
