A delightful, sometimes dark and engaging performance about some of the most difficult topics one could imagine. And it's hilarious! Now there's a good show! Christina invites us into her darkest moments, but is so clever, and fast paced and likable that the darkness is constantly interrupted by warm candor and funny one liners. So many solo shows feature deep vulnerability, but Christina takes us to places only the bravest of us would dare to show the world. But always with charm, humor and incredible grace. A great show!... full review

Bathroom Diaries is bold, funny, and full of heart. Christina doesn’t just tell her story, she shows it, with skill, style, and a lot of heart. Her struggle to be taken seriously, both medically and emotionally, is painfully relatable—and her comedic voice brings such levity and strength to a topic most people would shy away from. This is the kind of solo show that sticks with you. Christina Marie Leonard is a force, and this is a story well worth hearing. Do yourself a favor and don't miss this show! ... full review

I've seen Christina's work before and also directed her in a short film. Her performance in BATHROOM DIARIES showcased her skills to a great extent. She's a talented, emotionally present actor who is committed to her character (in this case, characters!) Here, she's put her own very personal and often painful story on display in a way that highlights both her humor and pathos. ... full review

“The Bathroom Diaries” is hands-down one of the best solo shows I’ve ever seen. Christina Marie Leonard’s thoroughly intimate depiction of her own mental and physical health is so compellingly honest: she invites the audience to know her through a level of vulnerability that would scare a lot of even the most seasoned artists. The show strikes the perfect balance of discussing difficult, highly personal topics without becoming a brutal, heavy sobfest, and the way that wit and levity play into the story creates a safe space for the audience to laugh alongside Christina despite the tough subject matter. For a show about addiction, eating disorders, and chronic illness, it feels oddly… welcoming: like a close friend is opening up to you about t... full review

“Bathroom Diaries” by the brilliant Christina Marie Leonard is devastatingly beautiful. Christina’s gut-wrenching saga told through her hilarious storytelling style had me laughing in stitches, and then in tears by the end. Christina is so very lovable as a protagonist on stage, I couldn’t help but root for her as soon as the stage lights went up. I had the rare experience during the 50-minute outing of laughing out loud while my heart ached—all from Christina’s abundant, raw talent. She’s a powerhouse of writer, actor, comedian, and all-around artist. If you like powerhouse performances, enjoy laughing, and would like a glimpse into our collective humanity, go see Bathroom Diaries asap!!... full review
