As a child of educators and someone who would grow up to be one myself, I related to this show so much!! Sidney Edwards' ingenious device of dramatizing the oral histories of the women in her family pays off immensely. I loved every character, I loved the way Edwards played them, and I had a blast. A stellar solo show!...

I am absolutely in love with Ms. Edwards!! All of them! Sidney is such a dynamic, hilarious actor with the energy of a whole ensemble! I laughed every minute and was truly touched by the heartfelt advise given. There’s plenty of funny shows in LA, but to see one where the performer makes you cackle and shows their genuine and beautiful soul is very, very special. Sidney is an incredible actor and a beautiful human being.
And Byron!!! This is the magic team. These two are a powerhouse writing team. A charming and effective premise, characters that we all know and love, one liner after one liner after one liner, and an ending that made me feel loved and cared for. Can I join the Edwards family??? Because these people are amazing!

Sidney Edwards is a dynamite of a talent on full display in this heartfelt and hilarious one-woman show Ms. Edwards.
Sidney flows through each character with ease, and there was truly never a dull moment. Sidney's performance was magnetic, vivacious, and always so joyful and bright! Each anecdote for each character felt so unique to whom she was portraying, and as an audience, you felt like you were stepping first hand into the world of Ms. Edwards and the lineage of hysterical family members throughout. All the while, there is so much heart throughout this piece, and it's wonderfully woven into each character. I left wishing I went to this school! Fabulous writing and precise direction from Byron Coolie!...

Such a heartwarming show backed by a magnificent performance. Sidney effortlessly weaves the audience into her world and shares the backbone(s) that made her the woman she is today. It's fun and playful. Sidney commits to each character and honors each Ms. Edwards with love, care, and irreverence. I would love to be in the audience when her family gets to see what she has created....

Sydney's performance is incredible and the show is really well structured, great direction by Byron Coolie. Sydney is an excellent listener and her use of the audience and our reactions added so much to the show.
Ms. Edwards is a show about acknowledging we're able to stand where we stand because of the women who came before us, because of the stories and journeys of those who shaped us and made us who we are and it was beautiful to see Sydney honoring that. ...
