FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN in a whip-smart, hilarious package! I felt lucky to witness Woody Fu's comic genius in this incredibly original, inventive and laugh-until-you-cry performance. I now know what it must have felt like to see "Oh, Mary" off broadway and feel like you're discovering the next big thing. It was amazing to watch Woody flex his nimble improv skills, as well as give a master class in physical comedy, on top of all great jokes and solid scripting that are the backbone to the show. I've never seen a single "John Wick" film in my life and it didn't matter. Woody Fu deliciously lampoons nearly every action movie trope in the book in this hilarious, precise, and completely ridiculous show. I simply must call out Woody's impressive pantomiming skills, which really carried the show. Every single movement was perfectly synced up with his exceptional audio track, immediately transporting the audience into the middle of some of the most brutal fight scenes you can fathom. In addition to Woody's incredible writing and performance, the moments of audience interaction baked into the show were some of the most trusting and unique setups I've seen from any show at HFF. Nothing I can add here that hasn't been more articulately stated in the rest of the reviews. An absolute blast (literally) of a show, featuring a masterful performance of unhinged lunacy. I literally hurt from laughter from the second those tiny headlights graced the stage (it makes sense in context). A joy to watch, regardless of what the line producer says. ... full review
