I LOVE The Transpiring!!!
Ultra compelling premise; I was invested in the show right away.
Genius to combine the themes of trans-positivity and vampirism and hip hop.
One of my Hollywood Fringe favorites....

A fun hip hop story about reconnecting with your past with your current identity and the challenges of trying to catch up but also reliving traumas. It was a wonderful evening full of fun music and song that I walked out of with a big grin on my face!...

What meets the eye as a fun, hip hop, fantastical musical is much more with deeper notes of a story about people wanting be accepting for who they are, no matter how many asterisks gets attached. As transgender woman myself, the storyline with the younger sister was particularly touching and left me wishing I had a sibling that - giving me a good reminder how much a story can impact someone else. ...
