Tamara Zook (she/her)
At the ripe old age of 4 in the Lindsborg, Kansas bandshell, Tamara was amazed to learn that you could be the characters in the fairy tale “Goldie Locks and the Three Bears”. She’s been playing dress up ever since! She has worked on both Coasts in theatre, television and film. TV – Guest star and recurring roles in soap operas to si-coms. Over 150 commercials and industrials. Her film credits include the studio feature FATHER’S Day with Robin Williams and Billy Crystal and award winning independent films screened at Sundance, Slamdance, Deauville, Berlin and dozens of other festivals around the world – even one at Shockerfest giving birth to live maggots. Her NYC and regional theatre credits include works of Brecht, Feydeau, Feiffer, Moliere and Tennessee Williams as well as many American and World theatrical premiers in Los Angeles and New York. In her beloved Los Angeles Theatre community she has won the Los Angeles Drama Critics’ Circle Award, many ADA Awards, several Robby Awards, Scenies, TicketHolder Awards, a Garland and the historical Drama Logue Award! It is working on theatre projects in the Los Angeles theatre community where she met the members of this work’s Team – women covering the age span of 6 decades. Thanks to her elders who she hopes are satisfied with her artistic licenses.
