Very well done, well written and expertly performed. There are very few performers who can pull of a one-man show and entertain an audience solo for an hour. Even fewer that can take such a sensitive subject as the death of a imperfect parent touching, uplifting and hilarious. Alli Miller is one of those select few. She was funny, slightly abrasive but witty and full of energy (as always), but this show also showed us her vulnerability, love and the particular set of parental wounds that have made her the woman she is today. ... full review

Miller-Fisher has written something incredibly special. Equal parts moving and funny - and to be clear, this show was really, really funny - this show could've easily gone the way of Jenette McCurdy's 2022 memoir, I'm Glad My Mom Died, but manages to carve its own lane within an already-niche genre. Miller-Fisher manages to encapsulate the difficult feelings one has when losing a difficult parent, a topic she manages to handle with delicacy and welcome brass.... full review

Who knew that grief could be so funny? Alli Miller-Fisher, for one. ICE CATS beautifully grapples with the messy muddle of emotions that follows a loved-one's passing: the pain of the loss, the bittersweet remembrance of better times, the humor at the absurdity of it all. And, as advertised: ice cats. Oh boy, are there ice cats.... full review

This is an absolute delight! Alli delivers a masterclass in comedy and in trauma theatre in general, and does an unbelievable job setting the stage and connecting with the audience. The energy is soaring, the stories are better than fiction, and the musical additions are PERFECT.... full review

A tour de force for Allie Miller, and not to be missed. Achingly funny, in that way that deepest grief can spill over to humor. Plus, you know, she sings. Do not miss. ... full review
