From the moment Miller enters the house, you're not so much "watching a show" as you are sitting with a friend as she unpacks her pathos surrounding one of the most tragic, challenging, complicated, and fraught events in her life.
What follows is an incredible journey through the inexplicable trauma of saying goodbye to a loved one and all the ups, downs, laughs, tears, anger, grief, despair, and acceptance that comes with it. Perfectly executed artistic flourishes include surprise musical numbers and home videos that help to cement that "friends just talking" effect that's happening here.
And what a friend to be sitting with. Miller is no stranger to the Fringe scene, and her award-winning charismatic work will be found here as well....

Sometimes the worst moments of our lives inspire art. We can never expect when and where it will come from, and we certainly don't know how we'll deal with it once we are in the situation.
In this one-woman show we get a vulnerable, comedic snapshot of an artist (Miller) going through the process and logistics of dealing with a formidable life-changing tragic event. While some moments are comedically absurd, the sentiment and gravitas of the content is not lost. Miller has shown in prior work to be charismatic, but this piece has courage and a lot of heart backing it up. Bravo. Thank you for sharing your story....

I walked away feeling quite disturbed to be honest. I knew it was going to be a comedy, but I felt it unfairly , and singualry poked fun at Hoarding, as if from a Safe Distanct perspective of " Hey , check out this bat shit carazy behavior, can you believe this...and that...she did" .
Its gratiflying that the author loves her mom so much, but there is a constant feeling of - at Arms Length on, lack of understanding her mom's behavior, which was disappointing . I would have preferred balance, some compassion and empathy for Hoarding, rather than mockery. Hoarding is a serious and tragic mental health issue. Live theater does not bear the responsibity to make one comfortable, but it does bear some responsiblity to assist in...
