MUST SEE! THIS is why we go to the theater; to watch ducks, separated from their flock, float in an existential and very real crisis.
Aaron Francis’ script is a parable that could be told by Lao Tzu, Sartre or Christ and explores LEADERSHIP, IDENTITY, and FREEDOM without opinion or judgment where the only conclusions drawn are our own. It is funny, thought-provoking, and sincere.
Performed and puppeted masterfully by Monica Howe and Joe Jordan, the two-hander never devolves into combativeness, what-aboutism, or even one-upmanship. Jordan’s pragmatism and Howe’s incessant exploration reveal a profound relationship; built on mutual respect and able to handle life’s differences with dignity and grace. We should all communicate so!

This is the perfect show for Fringe audiences! It is clever, unique, adorable and will definitely stick out in your mind among the many shows one might attend during a Fringe frenzy few weeks. I thought the writing was fantastic, offering an opening to great discussions post-show with my partner regarding the nature of living. The puppeteers were both on-point and engaging and I really enjoyed the choice to light them along with their Duck counterparts. Other technical elements of this show were delightful. I loved that this show was extremely entertaining, thought-provoking and inspired my artist mind. ...

Delightfully funny and thought provoking. Mix the brilliance of the Muppet Show with the slapstick of Abbott & Costello and the deep ideas of Samuel Beckett....
