They left it all on the stage, as the saying goes. Perfect show to see at the 11th hour of the evening. Wished I'd seen earlier in the run so could've recommended to others to see it. Fringe's review request email says to attendees: "Your unique voice will ensure a richer experience for all." and I think this writer/actor's unique voice ensured a richer experience for all of us in the audience tonight....

This show is everything I wanna see in a play. The play is gritty and realistic with theatrical elements throughout. Young Jane serves as an avatar for the voice of the oppressed when it’s all, but stifled. They are the vox populi dying out as capitalism and oppression lives on in a true American tragedy....

The performance aimed to capture the emotion of resistance through music and minimal staging. Some scenes had strong symbolic power, and the stripped-down design let the performer take center stage. At times, the abstract structure made it hard to connect emotionally, but the effort and intention were clear. It was bold—and worth seeing, especially in a setting like Fringe where riskier work can have a voice....
