Anne DiGiovanni (p/k/a deegie) sent the ultimate goodbye e-mail when she quit her corporate job to pursue songwriting in early 2022 – a link to a music video for her duo, Only Bricks’ latest single, “Smile, It’s Over :),” that told her co-workers to “Please keep in touch at 1-800-U-CAN-SUCKIT.” Only Bricks released an acclaimed EP of pop songs in 2018, and their singles and music videos have amassed over a million streams since. Anne now performs as deegie, a pop punk princess who shines a powerful light on the truth of being a woman who is raw, bold, and fierce. deegie is currently working on and releasing her next album, Feminism 101, including singles “Hard to Be a Man” and “Not in the Mood.”
