Katt is instantly loveable. She is quite the entertainer, through her hilarious characters, and poignant stories. I thought this was a beautiful, energetic, fun, at times heartbreaking, at times hopeful, and all the time engaging show. An autobiographical show that was very easy to find things to connect to in, because of how effortlessly and honestly Katt shared her heart with the audience. ... full review

So much fun! The set was full of so much whimsy, I was hooked from the moment I stepped into the theater. This is a show that not just anyone could do, hilarious, absurd, ridiculous, captivating! I was drawn into his world for the duration of the show and didn’t look back. He pulled all the audience into this strange world and took us on a journey I was happy to be a part of. Bizarre and brilliant. A must see for anyone who loves to laugh. ... full review

After seeing this, I left the theater feeling completely rejuvenated and alive, having experienced so much laughter and joy. The music, the characters, the writing, the wit, the weird and captivating story, all made this experience one that’s not to miss. I was in it from the moment it started. The bar was set high from the beginning, but my attention did not waver even a small amount by the end. The acting and singing are phenomenal, and harmonies are seamlessly tight and well crafted. The chara... full review

Lisa is hilarious, honest, vulnerable, and relatable. I left this show feeling a deep connection with her and the stories she told. I laughed at her candor, I cried at the familiarity I felt from what she said. The songs are full of wit. The show is shocking and hysterical. I highly recommend. ... full review

PLAY ON! A Musical Romp with Shakespeare's Heroines

Laura-Jo is a musical sensation and certainly someone to watch. Aside from being a tour de force as a musician, piano player, and vocalist, she is also a master of each Shakespearean character she portrays. As a songwriter and composer, she also managed to capture the essence of each heroine through her catchy motifs and slick melodic lines. Her transitions are fast, her presentation is witty, and her characters are well thought out and jam-packed with artistic subtlety and variety. Whether you k... full review

Haunting, captivating, important. To be able to have empathy with a sociopath seems like an unconquerable task. To get into their mind seems unsettling and dark. Yet, this show is an equal display of a call for change as it is a call to understand those we don’t want to, so we can have that hope to change at all. I felt myself begin to humanize this disgusting man - not because of his reasoning for his unthinkable actions, but because of the circumstances which allowed him to grow into someone wh... full review

Ronnie Brixton - The Best of British Boxing

I think we all have something to learn from through this unique perspective told by a boxing commentator, brought up in a less accepting era than we live in now, yet struggling with some of the same issues surrounding identity we can face no matter how old we are or what circumstances we were brought up in. You can sense his shame turn into pride, and fear turn into hope by the end of this show, and this transition itself is an important story that beckons to be felt. ... full review

It's Just My Life

I knew nothing about this show going into it - it just fit with my schedule so I decided to check it out. This show was an incredibly well thought out, poignant, beautiful, arc of stories from women, that were honest and vulnerable. It felt as if every women’s story was somehow connected to the others without even trying to be, solely because of the shared experience of being all kinds of women, having that shared experience, and sharing it through their many different lives and stories. There we... full review
